I am a 21-year-old student of Education studies with social care and a campaigner that works to inform people about female genital mutilation and menstrual health.

I am originally from Leeds and moved to Northampton for the university.

I decided to run for the women's officer position because I am passionate about women's rights and women's health. I felt that I had something to officer and I thought it would be a great experience. I have always been interested in politics and I thought this would be a great opportunity to put my interest in practice.

As your women's officer, I would like to represent you and any concerns you have to the student union. I aim to work on bringing in new policies that will benefit students of the university. I also intend on working with other officers including the LGBTQ and the mature student's officer to bring you effective and well-rounded policies. I plan on organising fun events for days such as the international women's day. Finally, I aim to be involved with sports and societies to gather views that i can bring to the student’s union.
